KEY DATES FOR THE CONTEST

- No. This year, registration will be open from July 28 to August 10. Practice rounds will begin on August 11.
- When will the final take place?
- On September 5.
TEAM FORMATION
- Can I participate on my own?
- No. To participate, you must form a team of 5 people. One of the 5 members will serve as the team captain.
- How many people should be on the team?
- Each team must consist of 5 people.
- Can we form teams with colleagues from different locations?
- Colleagues from Obregón and Nava may form teams with teammates from Veracruz who are undergoing training at their respective breweries between July 28 and September 5. For each Veracruz teammate added to a team, 2 bonus points will be awarded and added to the team’s score at the end of the second preliminary round. Colleagues from other locations may only form teams with coworkers from their own site.
- Will there be other ways to earn bonus points?
- Yes. Teams will receive 1 bonus point for each member with an active Viva profile. These points will be added to the final ranking score in the Grand Finale.
- Can I register/play with more than one team?
- No. To ensure the competition is fair for everyone, you may only register and play with one team.

- What happens if a team member can’t attend the Grand Finale in person?
- Before registering your team, we recommend making sure all members can be present at the Grand Finale in case you qualify. Playing with fewer team members may put you at a disadvantage. If someone is unable to attend due to an emergency, please notify us by sending an e-mail to commssupplychain@cbrands.com. We recommend that each team participates in the Grand Finale with at least three members.
- Is it mandatory to appoint a team captain? Why?
- Yes, because we will be contacting the team captain with important contest information such as the finalists who will advance to the final round, winners, and more.
- What will the role of the team captain be?
- The captain will be responsible for registering the team and its members on 1000cbi.com. During registration, they must enter their name, personal or company email, phone number, and employee ID.
- Later, the captain will also be responsible for accessing 1000cbi.com to play the practice rounds and the Grand Finale using the email and employee ID provided during registration.
- They must also stay informed throughout the contest, as we’ll be sharing key information with them to pass on to the team.
- Can we choose more than one team captain?
- No. Each team may only have one captain.
CONTEST FORMAT
- Where should we register?
- On the website 1000cbi.com.
- Where should we participate?
- Practice rounds will take place on 1000cbi.com. Teams that qualify for the Grand Finale will attend an in-person event held at their local site (Nava, Obregón, Mexico City, San Antonio, or Chicago, as applicable), where they will compete simultaneously against finalist teams from the other locations.
- How should we participate?
- From July 28 to August 10, teams must register on 1000cbi.com, with a team captain.
- From August 11 to 24, teams should access the same site to participate in the practice rounds. To log in, the team captain must use the same email and employee ID used during registration.
- Each team must complete two practice rounds. In each round, they will answer 10 questions, aiming to get the most correct answers in the shortest time possible.

- How will our participation be scored?
- Teams must answer as many questions correctly as possible in the least amount of time. The ranking will be based on accuracy and speed. To celebrate the centennials of Corona and Modelo, each round will include one special question about these brands — worth double points.
- How can we earn extra points?
- Colleagues from Obregón and Nava may form teams with teammates from Veracruz who are in training at their respective breweries throughout the contest (July 28 to September 5). For each Veracruz teammate added, 2 bonus points will be awarded and added to the ranking after the second preliminary round.
- In addition, all teams can earn 1 bonus point for each member with an active profile on Viva. These extra points will be added to their scores at the Grand Finale.
- How will the winners be chosen?
- In the Grand Finale, one winning team per location (Nava, Obregón, Veracruz, Mexico City, Chicago, San Antonio) will be awarded based on their final score. Then, all local winners will face off in a tie-breaker round to determine the binational champion who will receive the Great Crown.
- How were the questions created, and how do we know if answers are right or wrong?
- The Supply Chain Communications team (Beer Division) created 200 questions for this contest. To celebrate the 100-year anniversaries of Corona and Modelo, 75 of these are focused on these brands and worth double points.
- Based on the feedback received from the first edition of 1000 Heart-Born Brewers, this year all questions will be knowledge-based — there will be no opinion-based questions..
- Will our participation affect our job or employment in any way?
- No. Participation in 1,000 Brewers, Special Agents will have no impact — positive or negative — on your employment.
- This is a recreational, educational, and team-building activity designed to celebrate International Beer Day with all our colleagues.
ELEGIBILITY
- Who can participate in 1,000 Heart-Born Brewers?
- All employees directly hired by Constellation Brands (Supply Chain, Beer Division) are eligible to participate—both administrative and operational staff, including unionized employees.
- Do we need to be directly hired by Constellation Brands to participate?
- Yes.
- Can someone who is not directly hired by Constellation Brands participate, such as contractors?
- No. This contest is exclusively for employees directly hired by Constellation Brands, both administrative and operational, including unionized employees.
- Can we invite friends or family members who are not Constellation Brands employees to join?
- No. Only employees directly hired by Constellation Brands may participate, including unionized collaborators.
PRIZES
- What prize will we receive if we win?
- Each member of the winning teams in the Grand Finale will receive an Amazon gift card worth $200 USD. There will be one winning team per location (Nava, Obregón, Mexico City, Veracruz, San Antonio, and Chicago). Additionally, a binational champion team will be selected and awarded the Great Crown.
- Will we receive a prize just for participating?
- No. Prizes will only be awarded to the members of the winning teams in the Grand Finale, whether local or binational.
- How will the winners be determined?
- The participation platform 1000cbi.com uses a ranking algorithm that identifies the top-performing teams based on the highest number of correct answers in the shortest time.
- How many winners will there be?
- There will be one winning team of 5 people per location (Nava, Obregón, Mexico City, Veracruz, Chicago, San Antonio). Additionally, a final round will be held among all location finalists to choose one binational champion team, who will take home the Great Crown. That gives us a total of 30 winning employees.
- How will the winning teams be notified?
- The team captain of each finalist team will receive a notification via email or phone. The winning teams from each location, as well as the binational champion team, will be announced during the Grand Finale.
